Taylor has been drawn to music since the very beginning and started writing songs and gigging around her hometown of Longmont as a teenager. Having independently released four albums by the time she was 20, it was playing FoCoMX for the first time that made her fall in love with the #focomusic scene and inspired her to study Journalism & Media Communications at CSU.

Taylor discovered her energy for music and storytelling could be combined in a senior music marketing class, and while in school, started producing videos for local and touring bands at 90.5 KCSU FM and joined the marketing team for Grammy-award winning bluegrass artist, Billy Strings.

You'll find Taylor around the MD lurking in the background of your rehearsal with a camera & designing posters for your favorite MD events. She also can be found writing new songs, climbing, running, and swimming in her free time. She writes, performs, and releases music with her rock-Americana, alt-country project, Taylor Shae.
